I want to invent a telephone that shocks stupid people when they ask stupid questions. It won’t make them any smarter, just hurt them.
Stop asking me when "Cash Cab" is going to be on TV, lady. I've told you a dozen times I don't know.

I hated answering the phone at the station, it often meant dealing with the dumbest freakin’ people in the world: asking questions about shows that weren’t even on our station(s), wondering why we weren’t showing the game featuring their favorite team, why the network switched games mid-play… etc.

I always get calls from people asking me about some news article they saw on television.
“This is the newspaper. Did you try calling the TV station?”
“Well, I didn’t want to bother them.”
