Off out, then! Tally ho!

I want to incorporate more Britishisms into my daily vocabulary.

Of course, I've got the swearing down pat already.

It’s a work-in-progress, albeit a slightly subconscious one, but i’ve been doing that for some time. Occasionally i’ll say something and get a funny look and then i’m all “ohhh, right, we don’t say that on this side of the pond.”

A phrase I’ve managed to work into my everyday not-quite-curses is: “For the love of Bruce Campbell!”
The first time I said it at my new job, the apprentice was all, “The love of who what now?” and I was all like, “I’m sorry, but what alternate universe have you been living in? And is it the one where Eric Stoltz was in Back to the Future?”

Haha, yeah, i actually liked that one so much when you told it to me that i use it on occasion as well. Plus, it’s on my “favourite quotations” list on Facebook, and properly attributed to you, for that matter.
