Kid Rock is some kind of amazing, somehow

Because, seriously, how do you take a song as awesome as Warren Zevon’s Werewolves of London and combine it with the classic southern rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Sweet Home Alabama and make something that sucks?

"I'm some kind of terrible, that's for sure."

“I’m some kind of terrible, that’s for sure.”

(P.S. I linked to the two good songs, but if you want to listen to Kid Rock, you’re going to have to find him your own damn self.)

There was a “Werewolves of London” influence in Kid Rock’s song? I hadn’t noticed. Not that I was looking for it. I hate his song. But it’s on the radio constantly.

Yup, it opens with Werewolves of London, so when I hear it at the dentist’s office or wherever, I’m all, “Yea! Werewolves of — oh crap, it’s this awful thing.”
